Each year children get their pictures at school. Why do we do this? Well, it marks a mile marker in life. The progress is documented. I love to see the images and the faces, but feel that time and effort should be made so that the images are not just ones placed in a book and used for blackmail. Why not have images that the children would be proud of and that you would want to have displayed in your home. These are special moments in their lives – ones they should be able to cherish.
This sweet family invited me to take their pictures in their back yard. It was great and they were adorable.

There is nothing cuter than a little child who is proud of having lost their teeth. LOL Thank you for this special moment that I had the chance to share with your family D&J!

Love the gorgeous light and colors on these shots! They are so much nicer than school portraits – you captured the personality of each child beautifully!
